Jordon D. Foss

Producer • Writer • Director • Founder

Jordon D. Foss is an accomplished writer, director, and producer whose creative voice blends elevated genre storytelling with a sharp command of the filmmaking craft.

A graduate of the prestigious Cranbrook Academy of Art, Jordon’s fine arts foundation—rooted in visual design, narrative theory, and world-building—has shaped his signature approach to cinematic storytelling: bold, character-driven, and grounded in emotional truth. After completing his studies, he entered the industry through an intensive hands-on apprenticeship, serving as a personal assistant to Anthony Mackie, John Krasinski, and Jeremy Strong. Those years on major productions gave him a rare front-row view of world-class filmmaking and the discipline required to sustain a lasting career in cinema.

Jordon’s early experience quickly propelled him into producing, where he demonstrated an ability to deliver high-quality work across a range of budgets and genres. In just a few years, he produced three major features: the Netflix action-comedy Coffee & Kareem, Sony’s acclaimed biopic Father Stu starring Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson, and his own directorial debut, He’s Watching You (formerly Black Spines), a bold psychological horror film that established him as a multifaceted creative force with a distinctive artistic identity.

As a director, he combines visual ambition, genre sophistication, and grounded emotional stakes—qualities shaped not only by professional experience but also by formative conversations with acclaimed filmmakers such as Kathryn Bigelow, Park Chan-wook, and Roger Corman.

In 2017, Jordon founded Palm Drive Productions, a company that began as a small independent operation and has since evolved into a fast-growing production banner working across feature films, television, and multimedia storytelling. Under his leadership, Palm Drive has collaborated with major studios including Universal, Warner Bros., Netflix, and Sony while building a slate of more than thirty original intellectual properties spanning horror, science fiction, fantasy, action, thriller, and animation.

The company has become known for taking bold creative risks, championing filmmaker-driven projects, and developing stories with long-term franchise potential—an approach that reflects Jordon’s passion for world-building and cross-platform storytelling.

Most recently, Jordon expanded the Palm Drive ecosystem with the launch of Cadaver Comics, a new imprint dedicated to original graphic novels, genre-driven comic series, and cinematic storytelling designed for adaptation across film, television, and animation. With Palm Drive and Cadaver Comics growing in parallel, Jordon continues to pursue a vision in which stories are built to thrive across multiple mediums from day one—each crafted with the artistry, ambition, and emotional authenticity that define his work.

As he develops his next slate of projects and expands his creative universe, Jordon remains a leading voice among a new generation of filmmakers who bridge art and commerce with clarity, passion, and fearless imagination.
